passport to france

Central Market hosted a garden party for the press, at the Historic French Legation Museum, as a preview of their upcoming Passport to France event.  I was delighted to be invited to join old friends and new, alike, in sharing some of their finest wines, cheeses, breads and more, specifically from the Provence region.

If you find yourself in Texas this month, don't miss all the food and fun in store, in Central Market stores, found in Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, Southlake, Houston, San Antonio, and two locations in Austin.

Bon Appetit!

  1. Wow! What a fabulous event. I'll definitely be on the lookout for the "Passport to France" event at CM. I love all the specialty items they have.

PS hope you are making some head way on your gardening. I have a whole new respect for people who grow their own food:)

  2. I hear they'll have scads of special deals, including a big burlap bag of fleur de sel for around 6$.

I'm back out in the gardens after that little break, and my body is asking me just what's so bad about fast food, anyway? lol Thank you for the encouragement!

    1. Sorry...I meant to say "farming" not gardening. I'm sure there is a lot more involved in farming than gardening, LOL:) I'll have to check into the fleur de sel at CM. Thanks for the tip!

    2. Well gardening is a whole lot of work on its own, isn't it! lol I've got a press kit today outlining all the events--they'll be going on in all the stores. I'll share them this weekend.
