bluebird, sing to me

weekender special edition
notes from maggie's farm

A man's interest in a single bluebird is worth more than a complete but dry list of the fauna and flora of a town.
Henry David Thoreau

  1. I had to read this three times, but then I got it. I agree. :)

  2. One of my Facebook peeps saw it as a knock on people who do the cataloging-- which made me consider a different perspective, but, originally, I thought of it as a nudge to me to focus...which I always need nudging to do! Focus more intensely on the things right before me, rather than trying to do, see, participate in it alllllll.

Thank you for visiting Notes from Maggie's Farm. I'd love to hear your thoughts!
