  1. Great pictures! I had desks similar to those in the last picture only our's still had the round hole that held the ink well.

  2. Love these pictures. My school in NYC had the old desks with holes for the inkwells.. Loved them as you shared a seat with someone always..Sometimes it was cool if the guy was "cute"..ha ha ha.

    1. My husband says that his desks had the same inkwells. I'd have loved to sit next to him in class, but I know he'd get me in trouble cause he was one of those 'bad' boys. Let's just say he had a lot of experience cleaning off blackboards just like in those pictures!
